We are Romina and Horacio Biasi, we live in Cerrillos, Salta (Argentina). The geographic isolation and the precariousness of our community turned our children's schoolwork and rainy days into complicated days, with consequences such as frustration and low grades.
We were raised without internet and with a book always around, that is why we decided to establish a school and educational library for our children, despite our scarce resources and the precariousness of our home. Our three children were soon joined by four children from the neighborhood who needed school help.

Our 3 children with 4 neighbors,
the beginning of El Tanque de Ideas
Little by little more children came and we realized that it took us the same time to take care of our three children than taking care of a group. So we decided to open the doors of our kitchen, where our small but effective library still works.
Simultaneously, on Saturdays we organized recreational activities. The group was growing week by week.
Today, after five years of work and love, the Tanque de Ideas works with 240 children and youth of the neighborhood.
